iCal4OL support now the syncing of existing Outlook Calendar Folders with Kerio MailServer 6.7.0 by CalDAV (Calendar and Tasks).
This is very helpful if you want to sync specific events of an existing OL Calendar, filtering by Categories, Colors, Times, Private/Public or Content (for this see tab "Options" [Enhanced Support]).
Filter options are on tab "2.1 More", if you activate "[X] Enhanced Options (otherwise default)".
For CalDAV configuration read http://ical.gutentag.ch/forum/viewtopic.php?id=28
Note: It's only possible to sync an OL Tasks Folder with the Main Tasks Folder of a Kerio User (limitation/bug of Kerio).
Over time, I added some hidden features, which can get activated by editing a configuration file (*.ini) directly. This can be done over the tab "Configuration" using button [Show .ini] and adding a line in the correct section.
Section Line
[Google] BodyAttendees=1 With activated "[X] Use Scheduling Tasks of Outlook" (see tab "Options") all attendees are
written into the description field of events during upload, too.
Helpful if you want to upload to GCAL, then sync with an Android Handy.
[Option] OtherMapping=1 For Google Contact Sync:
Treating all Email addresses as belonging to tag #other (and not #home,#work,#other)
See here for the "history": http://ical.gutentag.ch/forum/viewtopic … d=349#p349
[Import] NoDeletedTest=1 Will NEVER test the "Deleted Items" folder during Import for already deleted events = re-adding!
Other stuff:
- On tab "1.1 More" (=> activate "[X] Enhanced Options (otherwise default)")
Click [...] to open the Filter Window, without activating the Filter(!) and use
[X] Check for conflicts and do not import them
=> This way all conflicts will get reported to the LOG.txt during Import and during Google Calendar Upload!
(The deactivation of the upload similarity test on tab "Google" shouldn't be active)
This is not perfect for testing repeating events, it will only check the first occurrence (but against all existing occurrences of repeating events)
- There is a special configuration to get rid of Google Events, which are not in Outlook - please ask, if needed.
- There is a special configuration to get rid of CalDav stored Events, which are not in Outlook.
(See "AddAsDeleted" on http://ical.gutentag.ch/forum/viewtopic.php?id=28 - if unclear, please ask)
- Besides of "normal" Subscribtion to a ICAL Feed, there is a way to circumvent the "prior emptying" of the OL folder.
Note: This will only work, if all events in the feed have a permanent unique id => line UID: in .ics file.
LAST-MODIFIED:, or at least DTSTAMP:, must be defined in .ics file, too!
Use [X] Import ICAL file/feed - sync against existing events/tasks
and on tab "Options" under [Enhanced Support]:
[X] eGW/WebDAV: Mark events not anymore in Import with <Deleted> during Export/Upload
[X] eGW/WebDAV: Remove events, which are marked with <Deleted> after Export/Upload
[X] Do it directly after Import
