Page breaks by date

Is it possible on a ATable template to have a new page print for each new day?  I would select a week or more at a time, and then have each day's table of appointments print out on a new page.

Re: Page breaks by date

At the moment, this is not possible... So you need to select every day separately ..
I will look into it tomorrow - its 10pm here ;-)

Re: Page breaks by date

I uploaded a new version 1.0.9 supporting this.

You need to rename your template e.g:
ATable xxxx pagebreak.dot

With text "pagebreak" in name ... it will do a pagebreak for every day.
(One little problem remains: form second page on the table starts one line lower. You may change first page manually, if this matters)

I did it for MTable (Mails), too.

(it's not implemented for AReport or MReport)

Re: Page breaks by date

It page breaks just perfectly.  Thanks, you are amazing.

By the way, the 1.0.9 version that I downloaded came in as German, and I am positive that I clicked on the button to download the english version.

Re: Page breaks by date

Download in wrong language... I checked and checked....

There was one problem, tought:
After a "wrong" download and install, the language could'nt be changed anymore, because
C:\documents and settings\all user\appdata\Print4OL\Print4OL.ini was already created!
(This Print4OL.ini is the language file and "was" the path file for "moved templates" - if empty or missing, the program defaults to German)

I changed this behavior, overwriting now this file when installing, but this will reset at the next update the "moved templates path" to
C:\documents and settings\all user\appdata\Print4OL\  again (this is the default)...
For this reason Print4OL uses now path.ini to store and retreive the "moved templates path"... it's now online

Content example of path.ini

Template=C:\documents and settings\all users\appdata\Print4OL\

Re: Page breaks by date

I have found an odd problem with the new ATable xxxx pagebreak.dot that you just created and describe in this post.

I have the #Location field in my table and if I DONT use the pagebreak template, it prints out the location on each appointment like this:

Start Date                    Location                       End Date
Sat 3/22/2008 08:00    board room       Sat 3/22/2008 08:30
Sun 3/23/2008 08:00    multipurpose room       Sun 3/23/2008 08:30
Sun 3/23/2008 18:00    patient education room  Sun 3/23/2008 21:00
Sat 3/29/2008 08:00    board room       Sat 3/29/2008 08:30
Sun 3/30/2008 08:00    multipurpose room       Sun 3/30/2008 08:30
Sat 4/5/2008 08:00    board room       Sat 4/5/2008 08:30
Sun 4/6/2008 08:00    multipurpose room       Sun 4/6/2008 08:30

But it I take the same template and rename it as pagebreak.doc it blanks out most of the locations.  I get:

Start Date                    Location                       End Date
Sat 3/22/2008 08:00    board room       Sat 3/22/2008 08:30

Sun 3/23/2008 08:00                                       Sun 3/23/2008 08:30
Sun 3/23/2008 18:00    patient education room  Sun 3/23/2008 21:00

Sat 3/29/2008 08:00                                Sat 3/29/2008 08:30

Sun 3/30/2008 08:00                            Sun 3/30/2008 08:30

Sat 4/5/2008 08:00                           Sat 4/5/2008 08:30

Sun 4/6/2008 08:00                           Sun 4/6/2008 08:30

Re: Page breaks by date

I found the bug (replacing before adding new page, arghh.. #Location, #Calendar and #DurationMin did not work)
The corrected version is now online...

I had to switch back to the old installer - the new one does not work properly - using "German path names", which will fail for copying the files to
C:\documents and settings\all users\appdata\Print4OL\ .... thats the reason for the "German Interface", because Print4OL.ini was not copied...

----

Next morning... and the new installer (using now a selfmade .exe for copying the templates and Print4OL.ini into the correct folder) is online, again!
